Quick Start Guide - GameSheet Teams

GameSheet Teams is your hub to manage all aspects of your team's activities, schedules, rosters, and team communication! Whether you're a manager, coach, or team supporter, GameSheet Teams offers powerful tools to streamline your team management workflow.

Team Staff - Coaches/Managers

Team Staff, such as managers and coaches have comprehensive access to all team management features. Here are the key features for Team Staff:

• Manage Roster: Add, edit, and remove players and coaches from your team roster.
• Invite Followers/Staff: Share access with your team with other team staff, or expand access to the Players/Family/Friends!
• Team Communication: Communicate with other Team Staff, or Team Followers through the integrated messaging features.
• Complete Team Schedule: Enter all of your Practices/Non-Game events, and stay up-to-date with your schedule!
• Calendar Sync: Sync team schedules with external calendar applications such as Google or Apple Calendars to stay constantly up-to-date

Team Followers - Players / Parents

GameSheet Teams now offers coaches the ability to invite supporters, such as players' family members or friends, to stay engaged with team activities. For a one-time fee of $59 per team, supporters can access team communication features and synchronize team schedules with their personal calendars! Here are the key features for Team Followers:

• Team Communication: Communicate with Team Staff, or other team followers through the integrated messaging features!
• Calendar Sync: Sync team schedules with external calendar applications such as Google or Apple Calendars to stay constantly up-to-date!

• Game Information: Access detailed game information, including schedules, stats, and head-to-head matchups.

  Roster Viewing: View team rosters to stay informed about all team members.

Followers cannot make edits to team information, rosters, or schedules.

Manage Roster

GameSheet Teams is designed specifically for managers and coaches to be able to see and manage all of their teams in one place. All roster management can be handled in the Roster tab of the GameSheet Teams App. Rosters can be added via CSV Import, USA Hockey Import, Hockey Canada Import, or manually one at a time.

Complete Team Schedule

GameSheet Teams gives Team Managers and Coaches the ability to add and manage Practices and Non-Game events, in addition to tracking regular games. GameSheet ensures that practices and events are easily scheduled and visible to those with access to the team, keeping all team-related activities organized and in one place!

Practices and Non-Game events are only visible to those who have access to this team, and will not sync back to the Leagues website

Calendar Sync

Stay organized and never miss a game, practice, or event with GameSheet’s calendar syncing feature. You can sync your team’s schedule with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or any other calendar application that supports syncing via URL.

Invite Followers/Staff

Coaches and managers can now invite followers and staff through the Team App. Followers, such as players' family members and friends, can effortlessly sync calendars and stay updated with team communication, ensuring they never miss an event. For those needing full control, team staff members can enjoy comprehensive management access, allowing them to edit rosters and create practices and events. This upgrade keeps everyone in the loop with clear, defined roles, enhancing your team's overall experience.

Take advantage of our new team communication tool! GameSheet Teams allows both staff and followers to actively participate in discussions, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the team. Stay connected, share updates, and coordinate effortlessly with this powerful feature.

Getting Started for Follower Users

1. Invitations are sent to followers by an existing Coach/Manager directly through the GS Team App. Please reach out to your team to get started!

2. Accept Invitation - Followers will receive an email invitation which will allow them to create their accounts and set the password. Once created, you'll be good to go!

   Please note that Team Staff (Coach / Managers) have the option to purchase the Followers upgrade, which is priced at $59 per team annually.
