Connect iPad to the Internet
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
- Launch the Settings app
on your iPad.
- Tap on Wi-Fi.
- If the slider next to Wi-Fi is not enabled, tap the slider to enable Wi-Fi.
- When the list of available networks appears, tap on the name of the network you want to join. Enter the password, if required.
When appears at the top of the screen, iPad is connected to a Wi-Fi network. (To verify this, open Safari to view a webpage.)
Connect via Your Mobile Phone
If there is no Wi-Fi available but your phone is connected to the internet, you may share your phone’s connection by creating a personal hotspot. A personal hotspot allows your iPad to connect to the internet via your phone's cellular data network.
Connect via an iPhone
- Launch the Settings app
on your iPhone.
- Tap on Personal Hotspot. If you don’t see Personal Hotspot, tap on Cellular and then Personal Hotspot.
- Tap the slider next to Allow Others to Join.
- On the iPad running the GameSheet Scoring app, launch the Settings app.
- Tap on Wi-Fi, then choose the name of the device sharing the Personal Hotspot.
- If prompted, enter the password shown on your iPhone’s Personal Hotspot page.
Connect via an Android
- Launch the Settings app on your Android phone.
- Tap the Network & internet option.
- Select Hotspot & tethering.
- Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Follow instructions to customize the hotspot feature to your liking .If

How Much Data Will I Use?
Creating, scoring, and uploading a game will consume less data than sharing a photo (less than 2MB).
Pro Tip
Avoid using apps other than GameSheet when connected via a personal hotspot. The iPad will use your phone’s cellular data connection for any app you open.
