Setting Lineups in the GameSheet Teams App

New for 2026:  No more passing around the iPad! You can now set your game lineups remotely through the GameSheet Team App, accessible on any device. Use our iOS or Android apps, or our web app.

Enabling Remote Lineups

Remote Lineups must be enabled in the Admin Dashboard season settings for users to see the option in the GameSheet Teams App. This setting allows for quite a bit of customization. Users can choose default playing status, whether or not to enable remote lineups, and whether or not to allow signatures to be collected remotely. If remote signatures are not enabled, coaches will stop by the iPad when they get to the game to sign off, but their player statuses will be pre-filled.

How to Set Your Lineup

There are two paths to setting a game lineup:

1. Click on the "Set Lineup" button that appears below your next upcoming game at the top of the Schedule page.
2. Click on an upcoming game in your schedule and select "Set Lineup"

Pro Tips:

• You can set your lineup up to 24 hours in advance. The "Set Lineup" button will not be available until this time
• If your lineup isn’t set one hour before the game, we’ll send a reminder email and push notification to set your lineup.
• Only Team Staff can set lineups. Availability responses for games get automatically filled in when the coach opens the lineup.

Additional Details

1. Click/tap on the player status icon to choose if a player is playing, sitting out, injured or suspended
2. Select your starting goalie
   1. If you have just one goalie this step will automatically be skipped.
3. Set your bench staff
4. Review your lineup & sign (if permitted per season settings)

How to Edit Your Set Lineup

1. To edit a published lineup, just follow either of the same options used to set the lineup initially
   1. Click on the "Lineup Set" button to reopen the set lineup flow
   2. OR Click on your upcoming game in the schedule, and tap on "Update Lineup"
